  1. The Firebird's solutions

Fast and effective

To solve the problems given in the previous section and provide the best-optimized chain for games and metaverse, Firebird is concentrating on solutions and features.

As inherited from Cosmos plus enhancements from the Firebird team, the Firebird network has the capacity to execute a huge number of transactions per second (TPS) at a cost of pennies. The network is expected to guarantee immediate transaction finality within a one-second block time. The transaction fee is almost zero, so end users should not be burdened with any higher costs beyond any other popular blockchain network.

Do you ever wonder how modern systems (Google, Facebook, etc.) scale? The answer is “Horizontal scaling”. Horizontal scaling is when a software system is made to run on multiple computers. The more load is put on it, the more computers it runs on.

This is also the theory behind Cosmos, which Firebird is optimizing. Validators can run each Cosmos chain on their own computer. As the Cosmos ecosystem scales, it will never hit a wall. Interchain Security will make this even better. It will allow people to launch new chains secured by the Cosmos Hub validator set with not much more effort than deploying a smart contract.
